Changing your Loopcloud email

Please read these instructions fully before you begin.

Change your email address

1. Sign in to your account and go to My Account.
2. Scroll to the Password and Contact section.

3. Click Change email.

   

4. Within a few minutes, you'll receive an email containing a verification link.
5. Click Change my email address in the email.
6. Enter your new email address and click Submit.

Your email address has now been updated.

Tip: You can also change your email from your Loopmasters Account Settings page.

Restore your imported library and custom tags (only if required)

You only need to follow these steps if you have:

• Imported your own sample library into Loopcloud.
• Created custom tags.
• Created collections containing your imported samples.

If you haven't done any of the above, simply sign in to Loopcloud with your new email address and everything will load as normal.

Steps

1. Sign in to Loopcloud using your new email address.
2. Close Loopcloud.
3. Open your old Loopcloud user folder (named after your previous email address).

4. Copy the following files into your new email address folder, replacing the existing files if prompted:
   • archive.db
   • local.db
   • localCollections.db
5. Copy the entire collectionDbs folder into your new email address folder, replacing the existing folder if prompted.
6. Open Loopcloud.
7. Re-import your content folders.

Your imported library, custom tags, archive, and local collections will now be restored.

Changing your email on the Loopmasters website:

Click here to go to the Loopmasters Account Settings page to change your email address.

On the Account Settings Page, scroll down until you see the Email section, and click the Change Email button (pictured below).

You'll receive an email in the next 5 minutes with a link to change your new email address. 

Just click the Change my email address link in the email, then enter your new email address, click Submit and your done!
